Title says it all, pin on the clutch pedal that connects to the MC broke off of the pedal. I've seen mentions of this when searching but no upgrade or fix. Sounds like the pedal is discontinued. Anyone had this problem or fixed this problem in the past? If no parts or upgrades are available I guess it's welder time.

I can weld and have a friend that can fabricate so it will get fixed. Just wanted to know what others have done and if there were any parts or upgrades available to make it a better fix. I see they make a metal end for the cylinder instead of the factory plastic one so I'll get one of those before I start.

Wanted to update in case someone else has this problem.
Watched a couple of Youtube videos just to know what it took to pull the pedal quadrant. I pulled the drivers seat to give me more room to work. Best tip was to pack some rags under the hose connection at the firewall, made it easier to catch the clip when it finally popped out and caught the fluid that leaked. I slipped the hose off of the reservoir and capped it with a rubber cap . Clip is a bit of a test but patience and perseverance and it pops off and use a magnet to pick it up. After pulling the quadrant I removed the clutch pedal and drilled out the weld in the hole where the pin goes into the pedal. From the factory it's only plug welded on the back side and the weld did not penetrate the whole face of the pin it was only held by a small spot. Once I cleaned the pedal and the pin so they fit together nicely I welded it on the backside through the hole and also on the pin side so this won't happen again. The plastic eyelet was well worn and loose on the shaft of the MC so I was glad I had ordered one. Had to lightly file the knurling on the shaft after removing the plastic eyelet and the new aluminum one slipped on nicely. Put some blue loctite on the set screw and tightened it down. I cleaned and lubed the pedals before assembling and put it all back together. Clutch did it's thing and self bled from pumping it slowly multiple times.
