Just a WAG, but I'd say the stock flywheel is about 25 to 30lbs. The aluminum would weigh about 12 to 15lbs. Just a guess.
I think you loose about 30 or 40lbs when converting from the stock drive shaft to an aluminum one. I have done the drive shaft conversion and noticed a significant difference in the way the engine revs. If I have the chance to change the flywheel in the future I will.
If you are already into the transmission I would definitely do the clutch upgrade. I had clutch slip with the stock setup. Others have had good luck with the stocker's, but I did not.

So you don't like the Spec clutch at all?

I'm a SPEC dealer. So if you want one, I can do them for you. Having said that, they are not my first choice. I have one in my Camaro, it holds fine, but about 50% of the time it seems there are niggly little issues with them. Nobody likes issues to start with, but it's a lot easier to deal with them on say, brakes than a clutch which involved removing the transmission.

lol yah it seems like every 3rd clutch thread is some one haveing a problem with a spec clutch

a few of my customers have also told me of spec clutch issues, but on the same token I have heard good reviews from others aswell.
