Was reading in the search thread and came upon a guy saying his clutch pedal was making a clicking sound... My car was making a clicking sound when I disengaged the clutch and I though not much of it. I kept telling my friend my car felt like it was down on power. But I shook it off as me just being use to my car. Then this weekend my clutch started slipping bad. So off couse I know I need a clutch but was that sound the beginning of the clutch going out? And if so could I not tell much and hence that's why my car felt down on power? Sorry but the long post too just trying to get educated.

The clutch position switch actually makes a pretty loud click, when my slave failed however it was clicking louder and whining when pushed in the pedal.

Did not see my first post? Could be the indication of a bad slave cylinder.

Mine had a slightly louder click and whine you could hear from outside the car.

Ok, just saw your second post. Just got back from car show...in my truck. Ha, mustang is down. Anyway, I'll have them check my slave cylinder too. Thanks!
