I am selling my Coast 4" aluminum drive shaft. It came off of my 2006 Mustang GT and has around 15,000 miles on it. I purchased it in 2007. It has no visible damage and ran vibration free up to 130 mph (as fast as I've gone in the car). The car is garage stored in the winters. I'm asking $450.00 shipped CONUS. SOLD!

Does it matter if manual vs auto? I assume price does not include shipping

edit: if you don't mind me asking too, why are you selling?

I doubt this will last but if it's around in a week or so I will take it off your hands.

Per Coast, GT's us the same shaft for auto or manual. I had it on a manual trans car.

The price does not include shipping but it's a pretty light piece so it shouldn't cost too much. I haven't packed it up yet so I'm not sure of the shipping weight.

I bought a different car for the track (road course) so I'm taking the Mustang back to near stock driveline and suspension wise. I'm keeping the headers and engine mods on the car.

Thanks for the interest.

Mike,

At that time I purchased it, Coast only had one drive shaft for the Mustang. From memory, I thought it was rated for 700 HP. I sent Coast a message to see if they can tell me for sure. I'll let you know what I find out.

Still trying to figure it out with coast. I guess assume 500 HP unless I find something different.

Have you found out the hp rating for sure yet?

Not yet. Coast me asked for the part number but I can't find the original receipt so I don't have a part number. I sent a message back to Coast asking if there is one stamped on the shaft (It's boxed up now). If they say yes, I'll unpack it and get the part number. I don't want to unpack it if it isn't going to help. So basically, I'm waiting to hear back from Coast.

I was not able to get a part number from the "I couldn't give a sh**" vendor but working with Coast I am confident it is their standard 500 HP shaft based on weight.
