whats the problem with the exhaust? I have a 9", car is lowered 1.5" and have no exhaust clearance issues. Look at thep ic. would still go over the axle, next to the spare tire well and out the back

he's talking about the 9" and anti roll bar setup in the above pics .... i think

yes i know. It wouldnt interfere with the exhaust at all. Its using the stock mounting points and the exhaust pipes go OVER the axle, not under it completely bypassing the anti roll bar

not to mention on FRPP's site it says works with regular GT's

that kit is a little pricey. i can save someone some cash on it with free shipping. However if you already have uppers and lowers you might as well just get a steeda or BMR anit roll kit and be done. unfortunatly FRPP does not break up kits

Well the big advantage I see is that you could drop the links off street use if you were so inclined...( even though I have never dropped mine and run it on the street all the time without trouble) one might like it a bit better as the car wont sit straight up in the corners.....but it has not really seemed an issue with the 05 plus cars like it was on the older cars

Your correct. I know plenty of s197 cars running around with a anti roll kit and no complaints.

True, but from the pictures its hard to see how much room their is for the exhaust on the offside...

kool kool man i will be putting mine in but im also changing 4-5 other things too so my " testing " will not be too accurate as far as these go

Ok got the rears in today , looks like it lowered the car just under 3/4" on the pass side and right at 3/4" drivers . So i agree with dave by the time they " settle " they should drop the rear about 1" .

BTW all i did was install them then made a loop of the block i shall report back later lol

U can rotate those springs and get a little more or less. Al though there is a correct way to do it according to companies like steeda and such i noticed that whether you had the hook outboard or inboard made a difference

Got ya well i just installed them the same as factory , you can tell how the hooks sat on the rubber perch so i just matched those back up . I will adjust if need be a little later . I just realized I have broken some more shit so this gets put back in line AGAIN:thud:

Why call ford?

Call Dave at TeamZ Motorsports If you dont believe me.

Team Z did all the suspension work for the cars.

http://www.teamzmotorsports.net/

Tell them Matt Stanford sent you. LOL (Matt and Dave Are friends)

True Story!

Dave Zimmerman did the design work for all the Cobra Jet suspension.

Team Z's stuff is freakin bad ass too. I'm running all their suspension on my stang.

Well I picked up a set of V6 rears today. Ill fit them soon but Im not racing again until the 24th. I have also refitted the stock springs at the front when the BMR lowering springs their snapped:oops1:

Pissed me off massively; took ages to change as I couldnt get the cam bolts out...

Im leaving the stock springs in at the front as with the sway bar removed too, it really feels like it wants to 'launch' when I hit the throttle at low rpm; it really lifts and goes. Im looking forwards to this....

I got the springs, arrived a couple days ago. Next weekend when I put them in, I will document the ride height change.

Also, since I will be going to the track again with no other changes, I will report back what my 60' times end up doing....

I have not had a chance to make it out with mine so I'm looking forward to what you find...( Waiting on freaking camber plates for 2 weeks from J&M:wtf1:)

i installed the cobra jet springs 2 days ago. Im actually in the process of switching back to my FRPP springs now. I installed the cobra jet springs on my stock Struts to make them completely interchangable with my tokico/FRPP combo. Boy does the car sit funny. The front isnt lowered at all compared to stock springs, and id say you were dead on with about 3/4 drop in the rear. i was actually able to get my jack under the car without ramps wit hthe cobra jet springs in.

As for driving on the street lets jsut say that with no front swaybar and cobra jet springs all around theres a TON of body roll haha
