I never would have considered putting the fronts in...why didn't you just put the rears in for a slightly softer drag launch?

IDK, just wanted to see what the whole package looked like haha

Is there no gain from using the fronts?

They were in "The Plan" all along. "The Plan" gets adjusted at various points along the way. Like when I screw up and talk to Mark at Racecraft about the fabricated 9" rear. "The Plan" took the High-Dollar-Detour right there.

yoou might like the combo of your lowered front and CJ rears,,,thats what I'm doing...I just have not had a chance to drive it yet.....but I would always ant V8 springs up front...especially with all the shit I threw on the front end...lol

U can rotate those springs and get a little more or less. Al though there is a correct way to do it according to companies like steeda and such i noticed that whether you had the hook outboard or inboard made a difference

My understanding of the steeda article involving spring "clocking" is in how they are wound when they are made....not in their orientation once installed. If the mounting pads are flat, theres no reason why turning them on the pad should make a difference.

IMHO of course.

And pardon my idiocy if i missed it but did we ever decide V6 springs ARE CJ? I swear I read every damn page in this thread.

Obviously not, I posted it.

These are not V6 or GT springs

These are specific springs for the Cobra Jet.

They are a very soft spring, which is ideal for better weight transfer and better 60' times.

I did, but in fairness you would say that as you are selling the CJ springs! No-one knows for sure, irrespective, their is logic the V6 springs will aide launches in a similar way - as you say, the CJ springs are softer. And, the CJ is based upon a V6.
