I hope OP doesn't mind, but here is a good idea. I am a decent sized dude too.

Of course, he is going with the UTCA033 set-up...so it won't look quite as ginormous. (pieces pictured are a custom 9" version we build for the Shelby S1000)

Don't mind at all, feel free to post about anything you like in here, Kelly.

And that, uh, is defintiely bigger than mine...

Also got to test a new tool design we will be coming out with that allows one person to bleed brakes from the driver's seat, think an external speed bleeder that you can reuse instead of buying one for each caliper and leaving it on.

Please share details on this "one man" brake bleed product.
I would love to bleed my brakes at home

I can't show a lot more than I have as it's still already 3+ months out, but it basically comes with wrenches that are in popular bleeder sizes, each wrench has a seal on the inside and sorta snaps onto the bleeder.
First you attach the hose to the wrench nipple , the hose has a one-way pressure check-valve so that air and fluid can't travel the other direction.
The wrench sorta has a open collar area so you can lift it up off the hex and re-position to wrench further.

Because of the check-valve, fluid generally doesn't come out unless pumped.

Sounds interesting. I'd love a good option to replace the POS Harbor Freight thing I have. Subscribed for updates.

WTF??!! Your XTA's came with an adjustment knob?!

Mine only came with a allen key =/ Guess it sucks to be an early adopter...

And just noticed my helper springs are on top on the bottom like yours...

We're the manufacturer and don't sell direct, but I can set a carton aside if my a few of my fellow mustang brethren want a special deal.

Would anyone be willing to measure the height and width of the opening on a Boss 302/CS lower facia?

Trying to figure out how much room there is for mounting.

Dang! Look at you!

Initial impressions?

Well I'll put it this way, I do competitive F class (long range) target shooting and inserting the UCA mount's bolt feels like closing the bolt action on my Surgeon or Defiant rigs:

In more quantifiable terms, when you account for the slop of both the 7075 aluminum inserts and the bolt within the inserts - total deflection from center is around 4-5 thousandths. :licklips:

I also dig how deep the threads and reverse threads go into the head and base.

lol! Great compare.

I also like how you appreciate the attention to detail, and you even knew we used 7075 there, instead of regular ole 6061. Being a gun guy, I imagine you appreciate the choice of alloy on those bearing spacers as well. ;)

Well, I am glad you like it. It's a simple, easy Upper Control arm. But I tried to add some touches to it to make it stand out. Did you take it apart and notice the center of that massive adjuster? If not, go ahead...

I did see that it was drilled out i'm guessing via a lathe, but figured that had been covered by peeps before. Def a nice touch rather than solid thread-rod.
What, if anything, should be used on this planet sized bearing? Bicycle chain lube?

Correct.

The ONLY thing I would even suggest, or approve of (since those bearings technically do not require anything - and should NOT be lubricated) is the Amsoil MPHD. It comes in a spray can, and is very good stuff.

I would take the opportunity to spray it now, while that pieces is new. The MP HD from Amsoil will help keep contamination at bay.

I still have yet to have one of those bearings fail, and we've got hundreds in service. By fail I mean, develop an excessive amount of slop/tolerance within the bearing race.

As long as you stay away from the local mud bogs, or swamp buggy races, then you should be fine, even if you do not apply the chain lube (or as I call, protectant)

what 4r swap did u buy or build?

Car came with a 4R. I rebuilt it (since the 1-2 accumulator spring/piston gets cooked overtime) and decided to sorta go all out with hardened input/intermediate shafts, a combo of a shift kit and the Jerry mod, a spec-rite then later 4C converter, stacked plate trans cooler and I forget the rest of the components that made up the build. The trans is in a turbo 04 cobra in Florida now.

Unrelated:

I went a different route on wheels and now have a single extra 19x9.5 GT500 style wheel if anyone needs.
