Cold morning rough running

Seems lately on cold mornings the car will run rough for a little bit. ITs not like a complete miss, just rough, sometimes worse then others, kinda like it will go up and down for a little bit acting like one or multiple cylinders are having a hard time coming up to temperature. then after a few seconds it will straighten out and start to run fine. I recentely did delete plates and underdrive pullies to go along with my c&l racer and bama tune. yes it was retuned for the plates and i did them right before it started getting cold out. btw i just turned 36000 miles, think it could be old plugs (they are stock)? or just a symptom of delete plates? any ideas

I've been having the same issues...cold starts on cold days, it runs rough and well below normal idle RPM. Some days it starts fine, regardless of temperature.

Last time it happened I had some smoke coming out of the exhaust...smelled like it was running real rich.

I also have a canned tune, but not from Bama.

well mine does the same but was told it was to do with my 60lb inj. they said the cold startup part of the tune needed the inj. pulsewith to be tweaked ....... i know yall aren't running these but just throwing out what i know my problem is ....maybe help yall out .

I'm guessing it is something in the tune. I can't remember if it ever did this bone stock. My dad has an '02 F-150, though, and he says he gets the same thing when it's cold sometimes, so I don't know what the hell to think.

Maybe it's an open loop/closed loop thing?

it has random starts too, it always fires right up but sometimes it lowers then normal cold idle and runs rough. then sometimes it will fire up and go right up to cold idle rpms just fine. like i said it doesnt last to long but is pretty damn rough sometimes.
