Can someone help me out and explain how I can use a spark plug as an adaptor to run compression test on my 3V? Thank you

I have an awesome/expensive pro OTC kit that has worked on every engine I have tested in the last 15 years (including 4.6 DOHC), but it does NOT have an adapter fitting for the 3V head. I feel your pain.

I don't think you can use a spark plug. You'll need to find the proper 10mm long leg adapter to your compression tester. Amazon has the OTC one, that's where I got mine

I purchased a 12mm and 16mm Compression Test Adapter and filed the 16mm section diameter down to fit plug hole, a little expensive but works. S&G Tool Aid 34020 Engine Compression Test Adapter, 12mm and 16mm AT Amazon.
