I think I'm getting the hang of this transmission. 2nd gear is a pain to get into right now but I'm going to try Chad's setup and see if that helps. I know the times are slow but check out the consistency.

1st time trial: 13.44 (first run is always fastest)
2nd time trial: 13.54
1st elim round: 13.53
2nd elim round: 13.54
3rd elim round: 13.77 (had other car at 1000' so I coasted. 1000' was equal to my 13.54 runs
4th elim round: 13.54 (lost due to red light)

All 60's were in the 1.75-1.77 range

Not bad for a stick

All in all I'm happy with the consistency, if I can get 2nd gear to shift smoothly, I should take a few tenths off the times then get 4.56's, I should be in the 12's consistently.

In a few weeks there will be a manual trans club coming to the track. I'm going to keep this setup until after they race there then I will start messing with the setup to get better times.

Agree with mikey. Your consistency is awesome for both the 60' and the 1/4. However, considering your excellent 60' times it would seem that your 1/4 times should be a little lower. I realize you're having some trouble with 2nd gear, but the 1/4 times still seem a little high. What were your mph's, and what was the DA?

MPH's for all runs were in all around 100 flat. I didn't check the DA but the temp was in the upper 60's. On a 50 degree day I did get a 12.98 out of this setup but the clutch was brand new and I wasn't having 2nd gear issues. Also, I have 4.10's in it and with a TR6060 they're hurting it. When the 3650 was working well, I got a best 60' of 1.71 and a best ET of 12.76 at about 106.

That's sounds better. The high 12's was what I was thinking was about right for your 60' times and your mods. It appears that your most recent ET's were affected more by mechanical issues than by a slightly higher DA.

Definitely. I decided that instead of fighting to get it into 2nd gear I'd give it 1/2 a second or so. It may look funny going down the track with that big delay between 1st and 2nd but I'd rather win than look cool. When I get this issue taken care of, I'll look cool AND win. :evillaugh:
