Guys I went from my factory 235/50/18s bfg's to these continental extreme contact dw. WOW! What a tire. I am running 275/45/18s in the back (yes I know Buldge) but you can't hardly tell it. I highly suggest these tires for everyday driving. All I can say is if you want traction go out and buy these tires NOW! I will post pics later I am going to go enjoy hooking up. Thanks to Tiger he made me pull the trigger on these tires.

I agree. I swithced to 285/35/19s continental extreme contact dws (yes, the "s" is for snow, even though I live in Houston). These things have fantastic traction and a better ride than the GY F1 Supercar tires. I went for the DWS instead of the DW because the treadwear on the DWS is 540, whereas the DW is only 300 (for comparison the GY F1s were 220, and lasted me excatly 10,000 miles on the rear).

Lastly, the prices are WAAAAAY competitive.

Yep, I put DW's out back (I have rear snow tires for winter) and DWS's up front. Best street tires I've ever had. Wet traction is sick, too.

I agree, I put on my tires about a month ago and the traction is unbelievable.

The only regret I have is I didn't find out about these tires sooner. Even from a cold start the tire is a billion times better than my stocker bfgs after a good burn out. I think I will wear these tires out and try to get a new set of rims ( same style just wider) and do like a 305/40/18 something around that size on the back. At my power level that should pretty much cover my street/strip adventures.

I agree they are the Shit or I think they are.

They were good enough that on a Non-Treated 1/4 Mile track in Lufkin, TX.
And me driving after {Not} being on a Drag Strip in more than 30 Plus years they did this well.
Oh and the "tigermachine" was the Fastest MPH & Lowest ET {Street Driven} Mustang at the Mach-1/Texas Shootout 2011.

This was the Fastest {MPH} I turned.

These tires are very affordable compared to other tire brands. They offer excellent performance for traction and handling. I plan on getting a set of these when my BFGs wear out!

I have about 4000 on my GT500 and I really love the tires. Until last year Houston got a lot of rain....not so much these days... Had KDW2's on prior to this set and could not deal with the noise....and they wore out in 1year of non burnout driving. I guess 550rwhp is too much. DW tuned tires are the freggin bomb!!!

Still have the stockers for now. But will replace with like a 245 or 255 when they wear out.
