does anyone have any concrete evidence that fuel rated at 91/93 octane at one gas station is better or worse than the other?
so far, a bunch of people who claim "butt dyno" and an incident at the track blaming on fuel.
i thought this forum was better than "butt dyno" and a single incident at a track and jumping to conclusions stating arco gas is shit, etc.
why, then, does ford promote bp fuels? bp fuels is arco, btw.
i've never seen any difference between different fuel stations, chevron, shell, 76, arco, even a pos gas station. so far as i can tell, my car only runs worse with lower octane fuel.
yeah, my car's not fi atm. but i've had fi cars before and put in all kinds of 91/93 octane, taking it to the track and running her full out. never had issues.
i'd like to see if anyone has any REAL evidence of fuel being "watered down". it would seem like a really big deal if gas companies were doing so, no? we're not the only ones filling up on 91/93 octane. so the guy in mercedes s550 pumping 91octane next to me at costco is likely to eff up his motor because he's filling it up at costco? c'mon man.
