Ok, so my car is making a really squeeling noise. I tried tightening the belt and loosening it, I can tighten it and the squeel with stop, but you can almost hear the belt like crying and being stretched lol. And then, i can loosen it till it stops as well, but then if you push the gas you can really hear a loud noise like the belt is skipping. I have a saleen supercharger on there with an 8 rib pulley conversion. does anyone know anything about this?

Also, my car is dying alot. If you dont run it for more than 14 hours, its just simply dead. I have no idea why, it charges with my altenator, i just have no idea what is making it die. I read somewhere that it said that if you put a gt500 fuel pump on, that you dont hook the red wire/ access wire to the battery, well my is hooked up to the battery. I am wondering if its just staying on and draining my juice out. I know where there is a key on spot that i have my intercooler pump ran. I was wondering if anyone knows that if its the fuel pump that could possible be making my car drain all its juice

What size Saleen Pulley you running?
What size pulley is on the tensioner? Are you running a stock tensioner?
What size idler is in the Saleen Alt bracket?

I would take the belt off and spin each pulley, I would be it is the idler on the right side. good luck!

hey

well, i took of the idler pulleys, and seen no wear or tear of them, if they were rubbing metal or what not, there would def be some sign of it. I just changed the belt like about 2 weeks ago. It was a number XXX88, and the one i put on there now is a XXX79, so it is a shorter belt. I have an after market pulley tensioner i got when i bought the kit from someone else, and an 8 rib conversion. I also have a 10% larger than stock HB. I am running a pulley i cant remember the number, its either 3.6 or something, but its supposed to be at 9-11PSI, but since i have the bigger crank pulley, its running at like 12-13PSI.
