I was just thinking, with all the improvements made too the 2015 coyote engine, how hard would the swap be into a 2014 GT.... I know you will need to swap the intake, to eliminate the charge motion plates, an a tune to deal with the mid-lock cam phasers.... But it seems like it would be a pretty straight forward swap. You would gain better rods, heads, bigger cams and valves, all of which is carry over from the Boss engines..... Install oil pump gears, an I think this motor will perform just as well as the Boss motor. Just a thought. Any ideas?

I think a supercharger would be less expensive and provide more power. Safely. What's the power difference between the 2015 and 2014? Or for that matter between the high compression aluminator and stock 2014?

Only if you need to swap motors anyway. Seems like a huge expense for not much gain.

You would only be gaining about 15HP stock to stock. Once people would start modding them than I think you will see the full potential of these motors. Honestly if it was me I would wait and see what the GT350 has in store if you are dead set on doing an engine swap.

Highly doubt that swap is worth doing at all.
You can do much better things with that $$

I actually think Ford is playing down the power numbers on the 2015 Coyote. It is almost identical to the boss motor minus the intake. With better flowing heads, bigger valves and cams, an it only gains 15 horsepower? Doesn't add up. I think with a Boss intake and a tune, we will be surprised.

Agree.. why? Besides that I never like buying the first model of anything. Let the guru's in the modding community figure it all out. They have resource (other people's money) to use

This. Nobody has any idea now. Hell, Ford only just released power numbers. From the small gain, it really does sound like being firmly in the "not worth the trouble" side of the equation.

Exactly!
I do have severe doubts that the 2014 ecu will have the capability to control the mid lock cam phasers.

Heard that the 2015's will not be using the Copperhead ECU but a Bosch so tuners will have a lot more to learn.

Boss rods are very inexpensive, Boss heads are relatively cheap, so is a Boss intake, and cams. Why not just build what you have? Unless you're throwing boost at it, you don't even need the rods. Throw a whole Boss top end on your motor for a few grand, add some headers and a custom tune and you're done.
