You doing any aero mods to help it reach those speeds? 200mph is no joke and if you look at the previous cars that reached that they have some diffusers and other items to keep it stable.

Nothing more than stock. If we need to, we will use some tape, but not at first. I realize 200 MPH is no joke. I take this very seriously.

Nope.

To be clear...we aren't doing stuff like that, more Aero etc on purpose. We are out to prove this kit as is. No special turbos, no special aero etc.

I understand and I applaud the decision, I asked because from my point of view (preparing a car for a standing mile) it was like switching tires or changing brakes as the next probe is a totally different animal, is much more than four drag strip linked together, this test is huge as in the last third of the mile every degree of that IAT that it can cool is incredibly important, hope it will pass with flying colors, would love to see the data.

From an intercooler perspective, Van did 204 in the mile in the Super Snake. That was a KB car with meth and stock intercooler no ice.

After the 1/4, we still have a decent amount of ice. So it should hold up nicely.

As far as the aero, that's just where we are going to start. If it's not going to happen, we will then use some tape to help us out.

This whole deal from the very beginning was an experiment. A really fun one!

Congrats Ken!!! I heard you where flying down the mile :beer: Your turbo system has definitely proven it self.

Yeah I monitor that thread as well just didn't see an update....206 is badass man. Was the car hairy at all as far as handling with the limited aero and suspension mods.

It moved around quite a bit and the surface was bumpy but wasn't too bad

Ken any other updates???

I went 203 yesterday last pass. Car still has a lot left in it. Tried to up it to 21 psi and blew the tires off. Need a different boost controller. So we decided to head home today.

Eboost2 ken with micro switched gears and multiple boost settings. I bet blowing tires away at 100 + =f'n scary you can do a switch based boost setting on it too. All you need is a toggle.

Eboost 2 is pretty good but we are going with the AMS 1000. We had a basic controller in there on purpose. Same reason we didn't do aero. This car is about as simple as it gets. Wanted to prove it would go 200 like this. Now we will start taking it seriously. LOL
