That really is impressive. 21 psi twin turbo, built motor, conveter, but stock trans, stock rearend, stock gearing, and full weight 3800lbs. My hat is off to you sir, you did good!

Any idea how much this kit will cost when released?

oh--I thought you had a bar in that thing. You must know someone at that track, out here if you ran a 9.40 without a cage, let alone a bar, they would toss you after the first pass.

It's fixed now.

We won't have final pricing for a couple months after we work out all the details of production. It should be right in line with any other setup if you compare what comes with the kit. And thanks for the comments, very much appreciated.

Ken what are you doing with your left hand in the helmet cam/video?

Hats off man. You have made a lot of people jealous! I'm one of them.

We couldn't figure out how to get the boost controller to ramp in the boost. So I set up two stages and switched between them manually. It was set to around 17 psi at first, then when I hit that knob it went to 21.

Thanks for the compliments. We were all smiles all weekend. The best part is we are finding some small issues here and there since we are doing all our own R&D. So instead of shipping out kits and letting you guys figure out those small issues, we are getting them all worked out before we take anyones money. Should make people very happy with the product right out of the box once we start selling it.

Thats awesome Ken! Which controller are you running, this may have been mentioned but since we're on the topic I wanted to talk about it briefly. I just picked up a new eboost2 and thought that gear based boost would be a good idea on these cars(not mine cuz I'm not making enough power, but those like yours). Just looking through the manual for the eboost2, there are soo many adjustable parameters to the boost profile, it seems like the adjustment is endless to fine tune the vehicle.

Ohh and congrats the car is on the top 10 1/4 mile list on this board on your first weekend out.

It's an old Blitz controller they don't make anymore. The eBoost 2 is a good option. We are using the Blitz because we had it but may change it out.

Oh, and while I'm having my proud moment, lol, the TOP of the list is Vinny Barber. My old shop built that car and I tuned it. ;)

I think your current spot is a temp one. Little adjustments and the 60 will come and so will some 8s.

I know there is a lot of engineering on your part to make that kit as potent as it is, but it is truly impressive to have a full weight car basically done on Wednesday or Thursday run 9.40s by the weekend. All without extreme chassis modification.....less of course u consider the ridiculous l&m engine creation.....and the ridiculous KenB tt kit...lol. But really, this is an 8 sec car as it sits with a better 60 and more time to tweak by you. Congrats.

Hey Ken can we talk about your plans for the kits. What are you going to do Intercooler wise? I read back over some posts talking about intercooler tanks and HE that you were using. Obviously those things are going to change, I was just wondering if you were at a point of giving us some ideas?

Thanks guys! We are very happy with the results especially since we just got it together.

The intercooler included will be exactly like the one on this car. the standard intercooler tank will be located on the drivers side toward the firewall. This is one of the things we have to get done. The trunk tank you see in our car now will be an option. We haven't decided on a HE for the kit. What we go with will be good for moderate power, but we will offer an upgraded one similar to what you see early on in this project.

Again, the standard HE hasn't been decided on either yet.

I guess I'll let the cat out of the bag also. I mentioned a beta program but no one ever asked about the alpha program. :omfg:

Cars will be here when we get back from the Texas Mile for the beginning of the alpha stage. 1 Stock Boss, 1 Stock GT Manual, 1 Stock GT Auto, 1 built Boss.

And we will continue the this thread to include all those cars. I will do similar build pics on each one, all in this thread.

We are serious about delivering a turnkey project! That means testing testing testing. We will be finalizing the HE and tank on these cars.
