Thanks ken, I was just thinking it over and was wondering what you would do. Keeping it at a water cooled system like this will still be better than A2A IC? I'm just wondering if the ave joe cruising on the street would benefit from one or the other. I don't have any experience from the A2W IC so thats why I ask.

Obviously you can ice the tank at the track for better effects but just cruising is what I'm wondering.

Can't wait for the alpha cars ;-)

Yes, this system was designed for the average guy. It just happens to work well when you push it too. Pretty nice how that worked out. :)

I personally think an A2W is a better option overall, even when only driving on the street with no ice. For one, our A2W fits nicely behind the bumper and you can't even see it. It keeps the appearance of the front end looking mostly stock.

For the same reason, the available airflow on the front end of these is fairly small and hard to work around. It's much better suited for a HE than a large A2A

Also, most of what people consider the 'negatives' of A2W don't exist in this setup. Most people think of twin screw cars and heat soak when thinking of an A2W. That is because the intercooler is sandwiched between a very hot engine and an even hotter blower. Our intercooler is in the bumper away from any heat besides the air from the turbos so no heat soak

That's not to say you can't get an A2A to work well. But with all the things I listed above, plus the HUGE benefits you do get at the track, it's the way we decided to go.

Looks nice. No cage? I am guessing because that would be a pain in the ass for a street car.

In what class are you going to register under and what kind of speed are you going to attempt?

I'm already registered. I'm Number 50!

Street Legal of course and we will be legal to 215 so I'm going to shoot for 214.9

Main goal is over 200. But if nothing goes wrong that shouldn't a problem. But every MPH over that is tough. So I'll just be happy breaking 200. But I won't be satisfied unless it goes 210+.

Jesus Christ...as much as these cars are more refined then foxes or sn95s I couldn't imagine doing 210mph in my 11. Lol. I can't wait to see videos of this. There will be vids right?

I sure hope there are vids but knowing Ken there will be. He hasn't disappointed yet. It might be time to try a gopro at 200+

Thanks guys. The helmet can is a contour+ I'm really liking it much better than a go pro. I'm going to try and buy 1 or 2 more before the mile so we have tons of footage
