Crankshaft Question

Stock stroke I get. Main I get. Rod diameter & width I no get.

Splain please!

gonna say, its the diameter of the crank, at the point where the connecting rod's attach to the crank.

Im not going out to the garage to measure my spare crank, but thats my estimate

but 1.85" diameter seems slightly small, maybe im wrong

Yeah, the numbers don't match anything stock.

yea, the whole being nearly as wide as the diameter of the rod kinda threw me there....somebody missed the day in shop when reading diameters on bearing surfaces?

May find out more tomorrow. My builder wants to make a last call to CHP about the rotating assembly from them tomorrow. It is a mess, I am worried they will just ship some half ass shit out. The builder has paid them in full already, because CHP was always a reliable company.

MMR wont get it right , get your shit form them !

I may have to put on my flame suit for this. But I have had nothing but good experience from MMR while ordering parts from them for my current engine. Even when I had two pistons melt and needed two more, they made sure they got a pair weight matched to the set I already had.

They'll usually cut down those rod throws to reduce rotating mass of that's what you're referring to. Still super fucking strong

It is one option on the table. One factor being the rods you could use and the $$$$.
