It looks good, what paint did you use and how did you paint it?
Ill take all I can get lol... 15hp from a 4$ pack of paint pens would have beenthe best $/HP ratio I have ever spent on this car...+15rwhp. Not that you need it. Jus sayin.![]()
Sick build, making my Choice harder. How would this compare to the same specs just with the coyote motor more power or around the same. I am thinking of doing a coyote motor swap and make it turbo. What is your opinion should I stay with the 3000 build it as you did what should I go with the coyote motor and build it with turbo.

^^I considered it but with good boost you can make just as much power and our blocks are supposedly stronger. You already have a good foundation, just forge and turbo it.
Oem coyote block seems to only be good to 700-750hp unless you mod the coolant jackets.
A coyote motor and control pack would increase your build cost by over $5000. In the end you would have a motor with less hp potential due to the limitations outlined below. It would be unique but it would be a bigger money pit than just a built 3v with turbo. Don't let the numbers being thrown around jade you. IMO anything over 550rwhp becomes a liability for normal driving. A street car with 550 is seriously powerful and fast, boost it to 700+ and it's over the top for anything but the track and scaring passengers.
Thank you all for your input I guess I'll be staying with my 3v. Only reason why I consider the coyote is because I put one I my notch a year ago and loved it then sold it like an idiot but I love my s197 its a great car
Build the 3v block, port the heads and throw one of S&H's twin turbo kits on it. You will be grinning from ear to ear.
I want a new engine crown.......
