Hate to say it, but now it looks like our cars could have the same owners.

Yup, super durable! Just bust out the Poof Can and go to work. I did mine a couple months ago and have had no issues. Drive it all around and recently in pouring rain. Just do lots of thin coats. If you do thick coats it gets bumpy.

You just spray that chit on? How durable is it? I.E., would it come off in heavy rain or large puddles … if you got caught out in it? :omfg:

Looks 50x better!

Good job! I was wonderin, could you spray clear coat on the plasti-dip and would that affect the plasti-dips durability?

I read somewhere that if you spray clear while the plati is still wet it will change it and make it more like paint, now how much I believe that not so much.

See, I found just the opposite to be true. The first time I did it, I tried the thin coats and it came out super rough and flat black. I did some research and all the "how-to" write ups and vids advised to apply it in thicker coats. I peeled it off and applied 3 super heavy/thick coats and it came out a lot smoother and it had a satin finish instead of flat.

Red_baron, car looks sick man. I would love to see some shots with a nice camera!
