Diagnosing charge motion plate issue

2010 GT - STS remote installed twin turbo kit, high flow fuels rails, Twin 62mm bore throttle body, shorty headers, x-pipe, high flow cats, 410 gears, upgraded and lowered suspension, 5 speed/short throw shifter, and the kicker - Ford Racing Intake Manifold with Charge Motion Plate Delete. Anyone else beside Lito who can calibrate/tune this thing?

Especially what BruceH & Lito (you know, the 3V whisperer\tuner most of y'all hold so dear) has posted concerning this subject some 9 yrs earlier.........................

Wonder why Lito stopped participating\posting here on this forum...................?

I ditched my UDP's after only about 2 years running them. Cooling and generator issues up and down. Got tired of fighting with it. Dash gauges aren't sensitive enough to show but alternator was barely (and most often not) keeping up with minimums at idle, causing problems. Could tune a little of it out by raising the idle RPM, but that had other issues and was annoying. Had overheating problems on long cruises or track days with the slower water pump rate. Wasn't much to do about that. Maybe it didn't like the oversized radiator combo. Either way, I couldn't justify it all for a couple HP, and I could give a flip about mileage. Went back to stock and problems went away. Couldn't really tell the difference (maybe in the PC datalogs but not the seat logs).
