As a business owner you shouldn't go around blasting people who have a negative opinion of you or your company. Did you see the positive reaction you received when you just apologized then you turn around and say the above.... You guys need to take a few customer service seminars or something.

i dont think that was blasting, i think he is genuinely interested

I am genuinely interested in that. I want to know so that I can stay on top of customer service issues.

I want to see people happy. I don't want my name tainted with negative feedback.

I don't understand the credit. All the bullshit aside. If you couldn't tune it why not give the money back? It was a service you couldn't provide for that particular car. A car comes in for a diagnose and I can't figure it out, I don't charge them for the time I spent and failed. Cut your losses, apologize and move to the next one.

BBR isn't the only vendor on this board that won't refund if they can't get your car tuned. I gave up on another vendor after I think 5 revisions of not being able to drive it until the system goes closed loop. Due to the last tune I received it fouled a brand new set of hto's that I bought for the retune since it was a "pretty basic setup".

John, I wouldn't take this personally. This isn't a JOhn bash thread. You are just guilty by association.

If BBR truly cares about their customers, and essencially their business, they will take feedback from these threads and try and improve.

If the OP had mechanical issues, jump on his ass and straighten these types of threads up. Don't let them get out of hand, and protect your reputation. BUT, if you allow them to get to this level, it's hard to dig yourself out of the hole.

Didn't Pro-M offer to flow bench this meter at no charge to assure that you would have a dead on accurate MAF reading? Probably the most accurate reading to date on a 2011+ car?

Also, didn't Central Texas Performance ask you to do this as well with the MAF? Being that they were the tuners you were going to have tune your old car...

You were pegging your stock meter, Pro-M at the time was the only aftermarket MAF available. They heard you were having issues and offered to help you out. You elected not to take them up on this as per your "out sourced" information you received from someone else.

Thank you. I'm reading up on it now.

I'm trying not to... but like stated, I'm guilty by association. I can't let that be. I want to make things right and clarify issues with our name.

We've been known for many years to be customer service orientated. Just recently, that has been slipping. Whether it be from the overwhelming loads of work or us being short handed... who knows and who cares... This problem ends now.

This statement is a huge step in the right direction, good on you for caring about the BBR name and reputation!:thumb:

Now...not being a smart ass or trying to stir the pot but did you see the thread in the pitstop area where a poll was taken about BBR?

Yes. That I did see. I chose to stay out of that thread and let people publicly state what they thought of us. Good or bad. I wanted to take that information and use it to come up with ideas to better this company. I saw complaints. I saw dissatisfaction. I also saw good comments and happy customers that will come back. But I did read it. I took it seriously. I'm working on solutions to better the name here.

John I'm really happy that your stepping in and taking care of this, I know BBR wanted to stay out of it because the amount of drama involved, but sometimes you just have to tell it like it is instead of trying to be conservative. BBR has always taken care of me and I know they always will, some people on this forum consider me a BBR nut swinger but when a company takes as good of care of me as BBR has of course im going to fully support them, and there is nothing wrong with that. John, steve, chris, and liz you have a dedicated customer and friend right here, thanks for everything guys!

Steve tried, but the river of blood was flowing too much. I wish the OP gave us the whole story.

I just happened to see this thread come alive agian today. John you are absolutely full of crap. Everything you stated about what happened is not true I have proof of everything through email and phone records. I gave you guys all the info on my car including where my maf was located man Im pissed now. I told you guys everytime I hung the phone up if there is an issue call me so we can get it resolved quickly. You guys would never call me back I had to call daily to get any information from you guys. My dyno never called you guys at all. This is total bull shit. You guys didnt believe that I had the car towed there to have it fixed. I gave you the number and you guys called him to confirm it. He didnt say any of the stuff you stated at all. He informed me that he had talked to you and that he told you guys that you should have never even attempted to email tune a forced induction car through email especially without me having a wide band. Also the truth is the truth I talked to your boy steve immidiately after I had problems Datalogged everything he told me to only a million times Each time you guys added something else to the list to datalog Then finally chris sent me a strategy file to use to datalog after doing that still days later then I email and tell you to refund because I am taking the car in to have it tuned correctly then bam I get an email tune worse then the first one. BBR is nothing but liars

Like I have said in the past I have no problem with John or Steve but BBR as a whole needs a evaluation to better themselves. I know your guys tunes could be better but only with effort and I feel that effort isn't always at 100% when tuning. I realize there will be certain situations but as long as they get fixed then were cool.

Even better you said that it took 3 hours to dial in the maf counts You couldnt lie anymore if you tried I wasnt even at the tuners for 2 hours My car was tuned in less then 2 hours and we spent alot of that time just talking about cars because it went so smooth. You said they called you while tuning it absolutely hularious considering they didnt even know anything about you guys or your tunes. I gave you guys the informtion the next day to prove it was done and that it was towed. So full of it.
