Okay swapped the lines and checked the oil filter i pushed down on the rubber flaps through the holes with a screwdriver and they came back up so im guessing thats good everything else with the filter looked good that i could see. Filled it back up with oil and started it up, oil light went out. Let in run for a few minutes, engine sounds fine. Checked the oil fill cap and its clean. Im going to let ir run for a few more minutes and check the plug and look for leaks.

The 2010 wont work, you have to use a 3/4-16 in. thread oil filter. You can use any filter with that thread size.
Yes i have the K&N $10 gold filter hp-3001.

I will be switching to the F1A1 for 3-4$ from walmart after this as reccomended to me by other memebers on here. It is the same size and shape as that K&N one.

can you post a pic of the filter with the front bumper on?
what i am looking for is how easy is it to get to the filter in the new locations, do you have to remove anything to get to it?

Nice work. But man, especially for the oiling system, I'd take out the hose barbs and clamps and put in AN adapters and braided stainless AN lines!

Dumb question, why would you want to install this? Are there any benefits other than making the location of the filter easier to get at? Don't you still need to jack the car to drain the pan?

The easier access to the filter like you said but it will also add some extra oil capacity to the system and cool it a little bit with the additional travel through the lines.

That looks sweet, I hope the PH turbo kit comes with something very similar. I have a friend that used prosport gauges with the black out faces on his talon and he's getting rid of them for cheap. I'd have to buy the oil pressure piece and i'd have oil and boost for like 90 bucks. Anyone know anything about hte prosport gauges?
