I have a '10 Mustang v6 convertible. I am aware that the car I have was once a US car ... it has a MPH speedo. When I start my car the low beams come on (I am aware that in some cars, shifting the car out of neutral does that same thing). Since it is a US car, the DLR must have been enabled when it came across the border. I want to swap out the stock headlights to a unit that has separate DLR lighting (like 2018 with 'gills'). With the way the DLR works on my car, if I swap the units, the low beam will always be on with the DLR. I want to disable the existing DLR (low beams on) so I can switch on the low beams myself. I'm aware this may be possible using ForScan software, but I can't find or figure out how to do it ... ANY HELP ????

It will be in forscan for sure. If you are on facebook, there are many forscan groups with many knowledgeable people.
