Drag Racing, Auto-cross, Road Racing, or show?

yes, but haven't gotten to do a road course yet.

this was shortly after getting the car. basically stock

all the cones aren't supposed to be upright. laying down tells you which side you should be on.

Drag race .... The entire process is awesome. Big burnout, staging, a good RT, racing your opponent, loud ass car, loud blower, it's all just huge fun.

I drag race a couple of times a year. Other than that, I don't try to have the nicest car, although I take tremendous pride in keeping my car clean.

I have yet to experience Road/Auto X racing, as I don't think that is something for me right now.

sorry for my ignorance- whats the diff between road course and auto cross?

Road course:

Autocross:

Road course is racing on a racetrack that has both left and right turns, often with other vehicles on the track.

Autocross is a time-attack competition that takes place in a large open cement/asphalt lot. A course is created with cones, and competitors drive the course one at a time to see who can set the best time. Autocross can be thought of as a really tiny road course.

All Ive done are shows and cruise ins. But I want to do AutoX and esp open track. Drag, meh. Id do it to "get a time" and then thats about it. I liked to watch Pinks All Out and wouldve liked to have got on that, but otherwise the desire to drag is far less that the desire to turn.
