I also recently acquired some Pypes violators and was wondering if I would pick any power up by switching to them, if not I'd be willing to sell them cheap.

First, I'd like to show you a dyno graph from Wes@TPS intake + 93 Tune.

JLT CAI
93 Octane

Now here's a final dyno graph from JMS after pretty much every bolt on I could do.

JLT CAI
Steeda Economy Delete Plates
FRPP 4.10s
Steeda Underdrive Pulleys
Powerhouse 1pc Aluminum DS
Pypes Long Tube Headers
Pypes O/R X-Pipe
Stock Axle-back

JMS.jpg

At the same time I also had JMS do a professional suspension tuning for optimum launch. He pretty much guarantees I'll see low 1.7, if not 1.6 60 foots now. He recommends a stock GT500 rear sway bar or BMR adj. rear sway bar for an even better 60'.

Nice numbers. Don't forget TB and E-H2O pump to get some more power

Monty @ JMS said I now hold the record for most horse and torque out of a bolt-on S197, on their dyno. Their shop S197 put down 290whp on their dynojet and ran 12.4 on bigs and littles.

pretty much same #s...

2nd numbers would show 'lower' b/c gear change...

What was DA of each run? both cold/hot or ...???

... wait, what were we talking about???

Im sorry, just having trouble finding et

Ask 1fastpony just how fucked up my suspension was before, and you'll realize that I can definitely hit 1.7 60's now. Dyno numbers aren't everything, but they show people just how much of a gain you pickup with full boltons.

Information, whether you want it or not, is what this forum is about. I will post ETs after I hit the track next week.

Also, the first graph is showing the car completely stock vs just an intake and tune. The second graph is after every bolt on I have.

Wes's dyno sheet is dynojets numbers at std correction and jms's is at sae correction. I'll post the std correction sheet in a minute. This is to compare how much I have picked from the mods I have added, not the tuners.

Nice results.:thumb:

I think what Chad was trying to say was that your 297rwhp on the Mustang dyno is about the same as your 310rwhp that you made on a Dynojet.

What Chad missed is that your original dyno was only 279rwhp...

Wes's sheet says 279whp 301trq and jms's was 320whp 328trq. That's a pretty good pick up.

And the fact that wes's says dynojet up top....

not trying to argue any point or whatever, but i do beleive TPS dyno numbers are always SAE, unless you asked otherwise. most dynos use SAE as the standard. good gains none-the-less.

See what the difference is at the track where it will really show. Taking a Mustang dyno number converted to dynojet like numbers vs an actual dynojet is just not a good comparison number for number.

I am amazed 310/318 is a record for JMS. They are definitely solid numbers but I would not say factory freak numbers.

The faster you want to go the better the suspension is needed. Yours look like a bucking bronco 1-2 gear shift but mine was too. Got tired of it after a couple outting 3 or so yrs ago and installed the current setup. In regard to the dyno and mod's...I did mine on the same dyno and operator" Pet Milano" at L&L 454 dyno. Same setup and weather conditions. We were looking at deltas between mods.

BTW, my car lost 100lbs over the weekend.

The record for most hp out of a bolt on S197?

on his dyno cuz its kind of stingy for a dyno jet. he said it usually reads atleast 10 less than other dyno jets hes compared it to. i dont care about cuz i was trapping 112 before the longtubes.
