Pardon the newbage here. Never done a ds install before.
So what's the deal with this thing? It is advertised as being a simple unbolt the stock and bolt this in.
It comes with a whole new pinion flange. Isn't it actually easier to install one of the other shafts that has an adapter that fits the stock flange vs. having to completely remove the stock flange and replace it?
This writeup here makes it sound like you want an impact gun to get that pinion nut out. I don't have that. I also don't have a gear puller.
