Do you already own an SCT handheld device or are they mailing one to you? In other words are you waiting on an email or a package?

It all depends on who you ordered it from. Some tuners are on big demand then others.

depends on the tuner, but that seems a little bit long to me, but like others have said if the tuner is really busy I don't think a week is unreasonable.

Which tuner/vendor did you order from ? As the others have mentioned, if they're backed up, it can often take up to 7 business days..

They have been out racing and stuff. I'm sure you'll see if first of the week. If not just give them a call.

Just a tune, already have programmer. Ordered from brenspeed

Just as Derek said, you should get it by the beginning of next week..

When the guys from Brenspeed aren't out racing.. Down time is usually between 24-72 hours after the order has been placed..

In the meantime, If you haven't received your e-mail tunes by Tuesday the 15th.. Just give them a call !

The e-mail you get from them says 5-7 business days so your not outside that range yet. I ordered one last Friday from them as well and haven't yet received mine either. So you aren't alone.

Normal for them and I think it is not right. Just hope they get it right the first time. If they need to adjust the tune, you're stuck waiting for another week. Of course, you could opt for the $50 overnight option.

You'll also be waiting the same amount of time from AM/Bama..
So in the meantime, just remember these are custom e-mail tunes written exclusively for your vehicle's individual parameters by a tuning specialist and not some one size, fits all canned tune..

Also bear in mind, tuner's such as Brenspeed, JDM and Bama are often busy doing R&D testing in addition to being involved at track events and most of all working on calibration tunes for many of their other customers as well..

Therefore under the circumstances, I don't feel that waiting up to 7 days is unreasonable at all IMHO..

Comp cams stage 2 127-200's

Those cams are not radical enough to "need" a tune. I started my car and ran it for quite a while without a tune. Any extra airflow will be picked up by the MAF and accounted for. The only issue you may have is it took about a week to settle the idle down. I think it only stalled 2-3 times before she figured it out. Then idled rough for a few days, then was fine.

All I know is the paperwork with the cams said in bold print do not start engine w/o new tune so I'll go with that. Your right it probably won't hurt anything to run it w/o, I've waited this long a few more days won't kill me, were you happy with those cams?

IIRC Brenspeed sets aside Fridays to do tunes. Maybe something has changed but they used to clearly state it on the website.
