well im looking to purchase my first supercharger and im leaning strongly towards the E-Force. however in a mustang world full of Kenny Bell, Saleen, Roush, Whipple, Vortech, Paxton and many other great products i honestly dont know a single person running the E-Force on there mustang im thinking this is mostly because its a some what new product and also people tend to stick to what they know works. after all if you have had great success with say Kenny Bell why mess with a good thing. im looking to get any info i can if somebody on here is running a E-FORCE their input would be greatly appreciated but i know a lot of you guys have plenty of experience with forced induction and your input would be great to have before i go and shell out almost 6k.

I have been running my E-force for over 18 months and have nothing but good things to say about it (mine is one of the very first units shipped - s/n 0007). If you want a SC that looks super clean under the hood, runs very quiet with almost no whine, look no further. As with you, I realized there were plenty of options out there, but I really like the final fit along with the stealthy performance and have zero regrets.

So with all the options out there, what is drawing you to this unit? Answering that question along with laying out your goals here might help you get some better insight.

thanks for responding i like the looks of the E-Force under the hood very clean fit and finish but more importantly it meets my hp goals with relatively low boost compared to many competitors units and also i was drawn to its quiet operation. one of my main reasons for looking into the E-FORCE was i would like to break from the Kenny Bell/ Procharger crowed in my area. really what im looking for out of this thread is just a little peace of mind before i go and empty my savings i wanted to hear from a few people that had actually ran the E-FORCE for a while to see what their experience had been before putting down the cash

One word of advice. You shouldnt "empty" your savings to mod your car..Not trying to play dad here, but before a big mod like that, I would have enough money stashed away in case of catastrophic failure..just my 2 cents..good luck with whatever you do..

if safe, low boost is what you want then find someone selling a used saleen and throw in a jdm tune. You will save money and there is tons of people to help you if you do have issues. you can do the 4psi or 8psi

thanks for the advice but this wont leave me broke and i have a daily so if the worst does happen i wont be completely screwed just would have to live with out my mustang for a few months. besides you got to find the positive in things yeah it would suck to throw a rod thew the block but on the bright side id have the excuse id need to rebuild my bottom end with forged internals.

I am waiting for mine to fuck up so I can really make some good power. But I am not going to beat the shit out of it to do it. If its still together next year, I will have a motor built and keep my stocker as a back-up..

I am running the eforce for 18 months as well and really like the way it has performed. I took off and sold a Whipple to install the eforce because I wanted something different and liked the looks of the eforce. I have run a best so far in the 1/4 of 10.71 @ 126 mph with this blower on pump gas with some Torco race fuel accelerator mixed in.

I have had zero issues with eforce as well, I have one of the first ones too but not sure of the number and really do not care.

i have basically the same plan of action i dont plan on pushing the stock bottom end to its limits by any means so as long as it holds together year year and a half ill be good the plan is to start building a new motor for some serious power by the end of next summer.

E-Force

I've been running the E-Force for about a year now.....Competition kit with 7-9.5 PSI- 445 rwhp/432 tq. A blast to drive- just what the MD ordered! Had a few tune/TB issues during install, but Rob at Edelbrock was great, and have had no prob. with the blower (great stealth look too!). Running mine without the coil covers.....

Are these blowers capable of over 600+ RWHP?

ehhh highly doubt that.

OP: if you want a DD blower, look at the m90, its safe and cheaper.
If not, just get a TVS. save yourself the hassle now. or any other blower for that matter. Centris will shock your drivetrain a little less and save you in the long run...

Yes they are. I believe JDM's was over 600 to the trear wheels. I do not care about dyno numbers so I have no idea what mine are but 10.71 @ 126 mph has to be getting close to the 600 rwhp range.

I've got competition kit #540 sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. My car is out getting the valve springs, retainers and seals replaced due to their mileage(the shop that build my engine left the stock ones up top).

Hopefully if the dang coolant upgrade kit comes this week from Edelbrock I'll start the install this weekend and finish it up during the week next week.

What I like about the e-force kit is how clean it is, the great installation instructions and the quietness of it. It just seems to be a well thought out kit.
