Yes early production numbers had problems. Edelbrock still took care of them with the warranty. Bump for OP and good charger.

There are no production numbers to stay away from. Some of the early ones had throttle body issues but as they arose Edelbrock overnighted new throttle bodies to fix the issue to whoever had the issue. I am not sure my number but it is 9 I think, not that it matters, and I have had zero issues with it.

Navbtcret is correct. I heard it was the first batch production so I wouldn't worry since this one is a later model. I would buy with confidence.
