I went to delete the EGR system off the car and quickly realized it wasn’t anything like my 2002 lol…couple questions

Looks like there’s a metal hose that runs along side the fuel line all the way up above the tank that’s hooked to the bottom of the EGR valve….can I delete that whole hose? I’d like to delete that and the fuel line to run new supply/return lines.

Anything I need to know about deleting this off the car? My 02 needed a reflash bcz it was cammed, other than that I never knew it was gone.

Planning on mount fuel press reg there is main reason I want to delete it

The 05-10 GT doesn't have an EGR valve. That function is served by the variable cam timing where the cams can be retarded under certain conditions.
What you're looking at in that photo is the EVAP canister purge solenoid.
