So help. Much fitment. Very community. Wow.
I have the r2s. They do rub. I run enkei rpf1s 18x9.5 +45mm offset. 275/40 tires. I blew a tire from rubbing. Only option I know of to fix it is machine the collar like gmitch or you can run a spacer up front. If you run a spacer then you can slide the knuckle in where it's slotted and run more camber. If you don't then you'll be lucky to get 1.5 of camber up front. These things ride well an perform well. Downside is they don't go low so if you're thinking you're gonna lower it a lot then you're mistaken. It's not a big issue for me but for some it might be.
Did you get different springs or what comes with them?
I had Eibach R1's and know have Koni Ground Controls. The Ground Control perform WAY better!!!!! They feel great and create nice balanced grip. If you are interested I have some Maximum Motorsport CC Plates that have the conversion kit for the R1/R2 coil overs.
Strange because now that the knuckles were realigned they seem to have plenty of clearance.
I'm not really lowering the car (other than for corner balancing).
I have 500lbs springs in the front but because the spring rate is higher I had to go with a shorter spring (6" instead of 7"): http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EIB-06002500500

Were you using CC plates? I have vorshlag plates so I think I could put the camber to full positive on the knuckle, then add camber up top.
I was. I have MM CC plates. Were on the day I put the coilovers on. Ive had issues with clearance since I got them. I just moved the knuckle out and ran the camber all the way in. It gave me around 1.2* camber. I still dont know why it was a problem though. Ive never seen that anyone else had the problem as bad as me. GMitch had trouble but not like mine as far as I know.
