I pulled up the hood cowl, and didn't see anything clogged in there. Nor could i find any traces of water leaking in...im going to do some more investigating tomorrow. If its not getting in through the hood cowl, my only other possible guess is from somewhere behind the fender maybe.

well, i think the problem is 100% resolved. Turns out, pine needles got stuck inside the weather stripping on the passenger door, and when the door closed, pinched everything and caused water to back up and spill into the car. Hopefully this was the source of the leak.

If the window is the only problem just reset the module with the window switch.

If you have the cowl off to change the cabin air filter be sure and I mean sure that it snaps back into position. At first glance it will appear to be in position but you kind of have to push it down and toward the front of the car rather firmly to get it to snap back into place. you can tell it is in place by the gasket at the bottom of the windshield it should be snug to the glass surface.

I have had similar problems with my 05 after a hard rain. Parking lights will be on for no reason, one tail light will be on, Door ajar light and chime, will come on and go off every few seconds while driving. Has no electrical problems when its dry out. So the smart junction box is getting wet? Its accessible from the pass kick panel? How much is the part itself? I'm sure its got to just be a few screws and unclipping the harness to replace? If my symptoms disappear when its dry, how do you know when it needs replacing? .......subscribing now.

Are there any pictures of this SJB floating around? Sounds like some sort of diverting shield may be in order to prevent this problem. I had water pour in my vent in the foot well twice and found out leaves and dirt had clogged the drain hole. Cleaned it out and all has been fine since. Never had any electrical problems thankfully. Is this box aligned in such a way as to make it vulnerable to accepting water from above? If I can avoid this issue I will.

^^^dont do that. it needs air to keep the module cool. it was designed to dissipate heat up into the dash area.

if your still getting water at the SJB follow this:
look down past the side of the engine at the firewall, near where if you have stock manifolds or shorty headers, and you will see 2 black plugs. they angle downward to the floor. they are made of rubber and have slits in them. those are the drain spouts for the cowl panel. remove those and clean them out and then reinstall them. thats why your SJB is getting full of water. once they clog up, the water goes through your a/c inlet into the cabin of the car.

Alright, this is really strange. Out of no where, my 05 GT is having massive electrical issues, and i want to know if anyone has had a problem like mine. First thing i noticed this morning, my interior dash lights, radio and HVAC backlights were not lighting up... then halfway through the day, i went to my car and noticed ONE headlight was on. Just the driver side headlight was on, and won't turn off. Now, nothing works in the car electrically, i.e. locks, windows, keyless entry, even the feature of the window moving slightly downward when you open the door...nothing works, and the driver side headlight still will not turn off, and now the passenger side marker light won't turn off either. Please someone shed some light, or share my pain... the car only has 23k miles.

I had same thing... side marker light was burnt out, replaced ... all good... just plain wierd... dam freakin' closed loop... one thing out... it all goes out... like Christmas lights!!
