First off, I would like to thank Fred Cook at Evolution Performance for getting me set up right. The guy rocks, great customer service and great communication on this big $$ purchase.

As far a tech feedback/info here ya go:

The install went very smoothly and took my buddy and I about 7 hours or less and thats with some a substantial amount of bs'ing and a pizza break. He happens to be a tech at Apple Vally Ford so he was anxious to get this done. He also tunes here in MN at APS His feedback was that he is extremely impressed with the kit, the install was very straight forward and the finished product is factory appearing which I really wanted.

The actual kit is a very well designed kit which is all pretty much plug and play. You do have to do some repinning of wires along with soldering one wire, but no big deal really. The intructions were dead nuts on and all I can say about the install is that everything is very well engineered and layed out.

There's one shitty part of the install that isnt fun and that includes clearancing the front cover. However, we made short work of that by marking the material to be removed with a sharpie and getting the grinder out. See pics below.

I still have to install the Stainless Works 1 7/8" headers and X pipe along with the L&M dual 62mm TB.

I hope to be heading to my local dyno soon, maybe this weekend and I will report back with final numbers.

I got two tunes from Evolution:
93 Octane "cam" tune
93 Octane Agressive tune

Driveability is great and the car fired right up and did what it was supposed to do.

Driving the car is like driving on marbles, so Im sure I will be investing in a drag radial soon.

Let me know if you guys have any questions about the install and I would be happy to give you some help or answers.

Here's the finished product.

The grinding is the worse part, not so much the actual grinding, once everything is out of the way its easy. But cleaning up all the aluminum dust is a PITA.

Looks great..

Thanks dude.

That damn dust was everywhere even with a shop vac down by the grinder. Tried blowing the dust off, but inthe end used a water hose to get it all off.

So how much boost is making for the "700hp" kit ?
Any gear noise when off boost ?

Forgestar F14s ? - if so, what offset did you get ?

I dont have a boost gauge on it yet, but it's based off the 9psi set up.

Zero gear noise curising. If you open the hood there is a very faint hint of a gear sound. The unsespecting ear wouldnt notice it.

The wheels are TSW Nurburings. Fronts are 20x8.5 with a 40mm offset Rears are 20x10 with a 40mm offset.

Congrats on the setup. I must say the Roush/FRPP Whipple kits are one of my favorite pd blower setups on the 5.0. Yes the grinding does suck, and replacing a belt can be a PITA, but all in all it is a well designed kit.

One thing I do add to the install is to put in a 1/8" NPT 90 degree nipple back by the bypass valve on the passenger side and run a piece of vacuum line up towards the ECU so that
1) We can get a boost reference when dyno'ing the car
2) If the customer decides to add a boost guage at a later date, it is so much easier.

So as not to get a vac/boost leak, I just plug the line up.

Hopefully it performs at the track. While my 525 FRPP kit did well on the dyno it underperformed at the track only trapping 116. Dyno numbers are in my sig.

116? That's terrible! Stick or auto car? My 2011 stick car with bolt on's went 117.51. (I have since traded it in on an Automatic car)...never made a post about it though.

If its a stick, maybe the clutch is slipping?

OP, are you going to be taking it to the track?

It is a stick and I doubt the clutch is slipping. It was chirping 4th gear.

Looks like a nice clean install.
Im up in the air as to which way i want to go.
I have a Boss manifold and i LOVE the top end it has past 6500. But im not really a fan of the procharger. I might go all out N/A or with a Whipple. nice info tho.

JDM. i trapped 116 with just a tune. ur car should trap over 120.
Flatshift???

What do you mean by flat shift? I wasn't power shifting if that is what you mean.
