Exhaust Help - What is it?

Hey everyone. I took this Magnaflow system off a 2011 GT. I bought it used from a dealer with this exhaust. I think it started as a Magnaflow Competition Series Stainless Cat-Back System from the look of it. I know nothing about exhaust. What are the sausage like tubes attached that I've circled?

Any help would be appreciated.

resonators, to quiet it down some. Those tiny mufflers on that 5.0 are going to be LOUD.

I have Roush mufflers, which are the same can style, but they're about double the diameter and are still super loud. I also have full length headers, catless X and no resonators. I put a dual in/out muffler in front of the roush cans and it's brought it down to a tolerable level, still pretty loud though.

Holy crap welding job... I bet there were leaks all over those resonator connections. My entire system is clamped. Good engineered systems use clamps and they work great on our cars. Higher hp guys might need or want welded systems but those are done by reputable shops that are willing to mock it, tac it, and pull the entire system down and weld it right. The labor obviously is a higher cost on those too. Clamped systems work just fine for us.
