Okay guys I am tired of looking. I have been to the store twice and they sold me the wrong size nut twice! Does anyone know what thread size is on the stock exhaust manifold where the H-pipe connects to it? One of my nuts actually fell off!!

And I did take one of the nuts off and it went right on a 3/8-16 bolt. So I bought a 3/8-16 nut and of course it didn't fit!!?? I figured it was metric but the one I took off didn't fit a metric bolt. :wtf1:

Are you using regular nuts from autozone or home depot store? I didn't have mine after I took my longtubes off. Didn't feel safe running regular nuts so I bought the oem locking ones from ford. Not too expensive since its only four of them. They have a slight oval shape to them so they won't back out

As far as I know it was a stock one that backed out. I figured the things would rust on and never come out! lol.

Well now I am even more befuddled. The inner diameter of the nut I took off of the car was .34. I just checked the "ID" of the m8x1.25 and it is .265. I have an m10x 1.25 and it measures .345. It must be a m10x1.5. I will get all 3 and check them on the car after work, and then search for a hard one.

why not just go to ford and get the oem ones instead of running around looking for some?
When it started I didn't think it was gonna be this big of an issue. It is just a flange nut for crying out loud. I figured they would be abundant but apparently not.....

Okay, thanks for the help guys. I finally figured it out and it is m10x1.5
Maybe this will help someone in the future anyway.
