I am thinking about getting one of these in a few months. Is the strength of the UPR K member comparable or stronger than the stock K-member?

Do I need to change the transmission height/mounts if the engine sits lower?

Would it be a good idea to install headers while I am doing the K-member?

Thanks.

YES to the header install while doing the K member!!!

It is stronger than the stock stamped metal.

It will adjust the height at the most 1/2 inch which will not affect anything else.

can someone pm me the code? motor is out of the car after stroking it to 302, figured might as well do the K member looks like its a lot easier to do now then later...also has anyone weighed them ? like the stock vs. upr?

PM sent.

will the hellion kit work with this or do i have to modd the piping. i also need the discount code.

I know one of our customers has a turbo with our k-member kit, and he said it was tight in one spot. I can't tell you where, or with whose turbo kit. In most areas, our k-member kit has more clearance than the factory unit.

It was Jeremy (Lightblade) who had the issue with the turbo piping going through the A arms....pics were posted with it, do a search for his posts and you can see where he had the issues.
