Some of you guys probably know me from other forums but I'm starting a build thread here for my car as well. I've been building up my car since I bought it in July 05 and I am getting close to finishing her up, finished being a relative, open ended term. Brief history of the car to follow.

Then I started adding go fast parts, first with x-pipe, axle back, shifter, intake and tune. Things started getting serious after that and I ended up doing one of the first 6 speed swaps in the country putting a Viper Spec T56 into the car along with 4.30 gears, Mac longtubes and a Mac off road Prochamber. With seat time and some drag radials out back I was able to pull off a 12.85@106. I also decided to run the car on E85 and installed 39lb injectors for that.

Since about the winter of 2005 I have been saving up and buying various parts one by one to build up my car. I had originally envisioned a KB build but as time went one I changed my mind and decided that a Procharger was the power adder of choice for this build.

Here is a complete list of what is on the car now
0.20 over teksid block
kellogg 3.75 stoker crank
Probe forged stroker rods
CP 9.0 compression pistons
Canton Pan
Meziere E-water pump
stock heads
stock cams with VCT intact
Mac 1 3/4 longtubes
Mac Off Road Prochamber
Bassani Axle backs
Procharger F1A with 4.25" 12 rib pulley
FRPP 80lb injectors
Lethal Performance/Zone 5/Fore Precision Triple Pump returnless fuel system
HPX Mass Air Meter
TR6060 GT500 trans
Pro 5.0 shifter
Dynotech 3.5" driveshaft
Spec Stage 3+ clutch
Spec Aluminum flywheel
4.30 Richmond Gears
Moser 31 spline axles
Detroit Tru-Trac Diff
BMR front radiator support
BMR k-member and a-arms
BMR extreme anti-rollbar
HPM megabite lower control arms with relocation brackets
Greg Weld Drag Star 15x3.5 skinnies
Weld Prostar XP 15x9 rear wheels with Mickey Thompson Drag radials
VIS Racing Carbon Fiber 3" Cowl Hood

The motor was assembled this winter by Dayton Performance Motorsports and the break in dyno numbers were about what I expected for stock heads and cams except the torque a bit higher than I thought it would be. Without dinking too much with the tune the car put out 316rwhp and 353rwtq

At this point the F1A was installed and here is a quick video of the first startup and idle.

After everything seemed to be fine the stock fuel system and 39lb injectors were removed and the Triple Pump system and 80lb injectors were installed. I also installed the Cowl hood at this time

I am in the in initial tuning stages of the car. I've been working on it myself and so far I have seen about 12lbs of boost by 5000rpm and the 535rwhp and 550rwtq by 4700. I'm having a bit of trouble with the air fuel creeping up in line with the boost curve but hopefully I can figure that out soon. I may have to step up to a large pulley because of fuel system limitations. The Triple pump system supports over 1000rwhp on gasoline but running E85 puts a much larger demand on the fuel volume requirements. The same goes for the 80lb injectors. I'll keep you guys updated and will hopefully have some full pulls tonight if I can figure things out with the air fuel.

I'll try not to be. Admining two boards and moderating on another takes up a lot of my surfing time! I'm chomping at the bit to get on the road with this thing again but at least the weather isn't quite warm enough around here yet. It did get into the 70's this weekend but it is back into the high 40's low 50's now.

Welcome John. I look forward to seeing what you can get out of the E85 when you get the summer blend.

Thank you, I didn't care for cutting the shaker all to pieces and the Cowl will help direct cooler air to the Procharger intake. I do miss the look of the shaker but the cowl is growing on me more and more.

It has been a long while but progress has finally been made. Here is a quick vid of the last pull from tonight. AFR needs some tweaking after I got the outlet tubing better aligned with the throttle body. It was causing a dirty maf signal and cause all sorts of weird issues with the air fuel. Now that that has been straightened out the dip in the AFR from 4500-6000 needs taken care of and a few more degrees of timing needs added in. Not sure if I will hit 700rwhp or not but it should be close. Not bad for stock heads and cams.

At 6800 it hit 23.5 psi. I will be more than happy to share pics, once I get the car cleaned up. She is a dusty dirty mess right now!

Be sure to share once you can. Id love to see the car with those greg welds on it. Im in need of some drag wheels that are affordable. Great numbers on the car, cant wait to see it.
