Hello i just recently started messing with the 4.6 3v I have a 06 Mustang gt 97,000 miles it has short tube headers magma flow exhaust CAI and a bama tune for 91 I'm currently changing out to a new gas tank new holly fuel pump and looking at injectors I want to run the E85 tune on the mustang but I believe I need some mods to do so so I don’t mess anything up I found a video on these ford racing injectors stating I can run the E85 if I change to them I need new ones anyways and plan to do mods here and there to make the car faster then it is, so my question is what exactly do I need to do to properly to run E85 in my mustang I currently run it in my 2011 f150 as it’s a flex fuel coyote and I love it.

There isn’t much to be gained on an NA 3v with E85…not enough compression to benefit from the higher octane though some people claim find 5-10 rwhp. We also can’t run a flex fuel tune like in the coyotes where it adapts….you have to run a dedicated E85 tune.

That said if you wanted to run it, you would need LU47s and a tune. A stock pump might be able to handle it, though the duty cycle will probably be high. Probably best to either do a boost a pump or a higher flowing pump since you are in there anyways.
