Do I need to change out any fuses or relays due to increased amperage?

This seems like a no brainer upgrade, I just want to make sure there is nothing else to do other then swap fans.

no need to replace anything other than the fan assembly

i replaced my stock fan with the 2013 gt500 fan as well. it fits just like the stock fan and hooks up to the original connector. it is shorter at the motor as previously shown BUT it is actually taller in the fan shrouding towards the driverside, by about 1/4". this is nothing to fear if you are N/A or running a TVS, but i run a turbo so i had to modify my brand new fan with a grinder.

this is the stock fan with DEI thermal tape on it. the down pipe had about a sliver of space between it and the fan. the fan motor covering was actually melting from the heat of the downpipe. i wasnt able to get a pic because i was trying to get the fan in the car as fast as possible as i was home on leave and was installing this before going to my buddies wedding...which i was the Best Man in...

heres the spots i had to grind down to fit with the turbo:

i took about a 1/4" out of the shrouding and a couple of the fins to fit the flange and the turbine housing. the fan works great! the car runs about 2* cooler all the time compared to the last fan which isnt much but i bought it for the extra room so the temp is a bonus.

THP kit?, what size turbo? I have a THP hot/cold side coming to use with my 67 comp turbo, I also want to switch out to the gt500 fan.
