The lower the RC the "tighter" the car gets. Lower height are best used for guys with really big rear bars, or those looking to make sure the rear end moves as little as possible. I want/need a car that's more nimble and willing to rotate, but not loose or scary to drive. The Watts link makes the car more trustworthy to me and I prefer the balance at the higher RC height for what I do/the bar setup I prefer.

Sam,

Is my Progress Group rear bar considered big or small to you?

On the large size, bigger than what I use and prefer. In fact I just took my OEM 24mm off my 2011 car. :)

Its called Griggs !

If any of us could (or would want to) afford Griggs I'm sure we'd find a way to break it too.

The bolts on my steeda's propeller mount were zinc coated and haven't rusted...not even a spot yet. Maybe the guys who did was an earlier model or different bolt spec. Then again, weather is very mild here in centex and it hardly ever rains.

The steeda's powdercoating is a different story. Some lighter places where the coating wasn't thick enough have started to form a bit of rust but nothing major.

yea these were black bolts. same ones that came with my g-trac brace. They rust instantly.

I hate to badmouth them at this point because Gus has always been so willing to make things right. But man its still sucky that they cant get stuff right the first time.

As for the coating, I had gotten to the bottom of that. The coating put on the metal after it was welded (or even before maybe) was not stripped prior to powder coating it. Thus it does not stick properly. Its cheaper that way though. Same old story. I just get their stuff acid dipped, sandblasted and re-coated when i get it.

Makes sense about the coating. My rep said they sent it *out* for powder coating so it's not an in-house steeda process. There are four propeller bolts, if one or two nosedive it's still held together. I've been watching the thing, checking torque and play, seems to be fairly well built.
