No shark tales custom fabbed his and did not use these.

Shark tales used some fenders from a 11-12 5.0,as he is going to match them up with a little customization.

Yeah SharkTales used factory stuff not a kit. I would say use the Boss splitter with Saleen grille. I know its used a lot but looks f'n sick. Or the Roush front end. Hard to beat that as well haha

Nice thread Blake, I can't wait to see the end product! I really don't know which style you should go with, I would say 13/GT500 but then again Sharktales' car looks nasty with the 10-12 front end. So Im just going to set back and wait for whatever awesomeness comes out of this lol, good luck man:thumbup:

My question is what are the fenders made from? If they're steel I'm all in. Too bad I didn't see these when I searched before starting to get GT500 stuff.

I believe they are fiberglass. I wanted to do the cali special front and rear,yhen i wanted to do 05-09 Gt500 conversion,but this ia different and i think i'll like it,

i will say go for it. i myself see no sense in custom fabbing my metal fenders when these can be had for 600. i will def be buying these.

your biggest expense will be hood and front bumper.

hood 400-1000 depening on choice
headlights are 200-300 depending on choice
bumper oem front can be had used on ebay for 250
lip and splitter choices vary depending on choice

there is some rad support cutting and wiring that you will have to do but not a big deal

you will need to dremel some stuff to work (ie hood glass plastic, fender liners, undertray plastics, rad cover plastic. hood bracket and hood latch)

i think this will be great to do.

btw how trustworthy is this crp customs guy. i feel like the site is poop and hes pretty much an unknown vendor
