i think the on 3 kit is a 3.5" downpipe split into dual 2.5's which is all you need. going 3" duals all the way back is pretty pointless with engines as small as these i'll never replace the section of exhaust between the x pipe and axleback its already 2.5 mandrel so just leave it alone.

ON3 kit is a 3" down pipe to dual 2.5" y pipe. I am running completely stock exhaust after the turbo kit and someone else on here did the same up to 600hp IIRC.

I wish I could get a layout of the powerhouse kit installed, like a view from underneath. I have the pypes violator axleback I believe right now and it just doesn't have the tone I'm looking for. I'd like to get rid of my cats and have a much better flowing exhaust but im sure i wont have cats anyway after the turbo kit is installed

My on3 downpipe starts as 3" vband at the turbo and fattens to 3.5" ( I measured it) then back to 3" on the way down to the over/under k-member pipe and 3" all the way to a y thats splits to 2 2.5" oulets that hook up to the stock overaxle pipes.

ahh nice, next time i have mike on the phone im gonna see about getting some more details on the exhaust and all that. From what i've seen not many people have to much bad to say about the powerhouse kit, plus i like that it already comes with a precision turbo instead of some off brand bs.

Lightblade-How do you like the feel of the 3.55's with the turbo? i want to get new gears so bad cause these 3.27's??? are killing me. 1st and 2nd suck horribly in this car in stock form. i was thinking about going 3.73's but didnt know how it would effect the turbos efficiency.

3:55s here. If you change them and go turbo you will be changing them back

Keep he stock gears, they are 3.31s not 3.27 in the 05 +. The 3.55s are a good gear, if i still had the 3650 I would have prefered 3.31s, but now that I have the 6speed the 3.55s are better.

so i take it you dont like the 3.55's with the turbo? Damn i was hoping to at least put a little more punch in the car for now till i can turbo it. In a way thats kinda what i'm asking. any kind of mods i can do as of right now to give me some power that i can enjoy now and even benefit with the turbo.

It would be a waste of time and money imho to swap the gears. 3.31s to 3.55s isnt a big change anyway on a na car.

As far as stuff you can do now and that you will want with a trubo, delete plates are a must imho, and get some underdrive pullies. those mods will get ya around 10rwhp and are both compatible with a turbo setup.

You can get a full 3" exhuast in preparation too.

Op, pm me for questions about ph turbo. I have one with a bov. All of there kits now are blow thru now. In the beginning they had the meter before the turbo but later moved it behind the turbo in the pipe that goes before the throttle body.

Riddler I think Lightblade got the Magnaflow 3" catback. The powerhouse kit will come with a Y pipe to replace the x & h. There is one single pipe from the turbo then that splits to the over axle pipes then the mufflers. If you want something better for now, as others have said get Delete Plates. Do a search on here and you will find tons of info. They are little plates that in stock form have butterfly valves in them that speed up the air flow at low rpm for better torque response but create restriction up high. The delete plates basically have no butterfly valves. They can be had for about 100 buck used. You will have to get a tune for them though. While you are getting the tune I'd suggest a used CAI for the time being. A n/a tune for 93 octane and CAI will get you about 30hp and then you resell the CAI when you get the turbo and only loose a few $$$.
