you can see the full top of the tip. when they are installed. they do not sit under the car fully. and according to the FRPP website the t-409 stainless steel which the FRPP GTA's are made from are corrosion resistant. if you would take the time to polish and clean them everything would be ok.
and along as being informed. they were off the car later that day. he was fully aware of the situation of them. he got full color photos of the tips/muffler bodies and showed all pitting/rust on them. they are not full blown rust buckets. if you take the time to clean them they will come back no problem. i told the buyer that it would be needed. he understood that.
i have made an offer to refund some of the money to help with the polishing equipment/supplies.
also i need to add in that these went from the east coast all the way to the west cost. the shipping alone was $45.
and i dont know why someone would sell a perfect fit axle back for $50. if they were hacked/welded from midas i could understand but they are lasting axlebacks from ford racing.
