Or in my place, cam is perfect for someone that wants to build their car for the road course as much as they do autocross.

Except that many places are actually honoring the "Classic" portion of "Classic American Muscle" and are limiting entries to pre-197X...

CAM has me intrigued.

I auto-x on occasion locally but I got into the sport well after I had placed a blower atop my mill which sent me directly into SM in years past.

It's not fun trying to compete with carbon fiber paneled cars with no interior and foot-wide slicks when you have basically a street car with a few fun-mods.

CAM seems interesting and certainly has a PAX advantage over SM even if it is a regional thing for now. Seems like the only rules are it has to be front-engine, RWD, and street legal. (oh yeah and 200+ TW tires so no purple crack allowed)

Wondering how long it will take for this to evolve into XP-lite.

My region split cam into modern American muscle (MAM)> 72 and Classic American Muscle (CAM)<72, and no corvettes.
