First trip to the track with the car

Took the car to the track for the first time last night. The car is a 2005 mustang gt 5spd, still completely stock..the temp outside was about 60 degrees, I was on the street tires as well. My first run was horrible but as I got the feel for the car on the track the times were better.

1st run

The first run I launched at 2,500 rpm and the car just bogged down so it wasnt a very good run

During the second run I launched at 3,000 rom and the car still bogged off the line a little.

The third run I launched the car at 3500 rpms, it seemed to go quite a bit better. Now im just ready to start modifying the car so I can continue to beat my times!

Thanks! I was pretty pleased with what the car ran being stock..I was wanting to get an idea of how the car ran before I started to tinker with it.

What tire pressures were you running?

Thanks. I just drove the car to the track as is, left the tire pressure at 31psi..My last run was my worst reaction time I wish it was a little better and may of gotten a slightly faster time..but oh well Im pretty pleased with how the car did stock.

Haha, honestly I couldnt believe them my self when I first seen the slip...especially I was racing my brother in his 00 Lightning with a 2.75 uppper, 4lb lower, magnaflow exhaust and a tune from amazon..he ran a 13.4. But I beat him because I had a better reaction time...althought I was mainly racing my own times trying to go faster and I did!
