Okay dude, you're pulling my leg right? I can't stop laughing lol
That's because you are an idiot.

Seriously though, when you google price match guarantee, basically all of them have it as I've explained it (And posted examples of) You know why? Because once again it's meaningless prior to hitting the buy button when purchasing online in particular.

Why would anyone waste their time contacting them and waiting to hear back JUST TO MATCH the price of where they can already buy it from at that price simply by clicking the buy button there??

If that's all FWS means by "price match guarantee" well then its not worth its weight in Sh*t and if you think that's perfectly acceptable well then the same goes for you. You are a salesmans dream!

Machined ones I wanted were in stock. Regardless, it doesn't matter. They are coming from the same manufacturer, the "in stock" issue with regards to price matching clearly does not apply here.

I am still lost... if your wheels were in stock, why did you have to wait for them? Why were they being "machined"?

Why did you continue to look for deals on wheels if you already purchased a set? Wierd. When I buy something, I wait for it to come in, not keep looking to buy it again. That's why you shop around before you pay for something, not after. lol Sucks dude. I understand the principle, but not over $130 or whatever. $400+ yes, less than that, it's splitting hairs to me.

Not that it matters, but I was just doing some basic searches for forgestar wheel pics and stumbled across that other site. Maybe $180 is nothing to you but I'm not rich. On the other hand, for the seller and manufacturer its probably half that. So who's the one really splitting hairs? Furthermore, one thing I didn't mention is Pete said he had the Machined ones ready to go and told both me and Michael at Supervettes that it was actually eaeier and quicker for him to sell those machined ones. They could have resolved this so easily but for some reason refused to do so. Again, let me clarify I said lets keep the same $1340 I paid you just please give the machined ones instead of silver and its a deal. They've ignored me ever since.

My vendor gave me money back after 14 days because I found a cheaper price. He's even offering to give more money since forgestar is saying 5-6 more weeks than I was quoted

They already cut the wheels you ordered! Now we are talking about your side of the story only... and they are not going to come into this thread to explain any of this away. As far as your price guarantee, all the other vendors you called out spell it out in writing. FWS doesn't. Goes back to what Hellsbells said about no information versus all information. So FWS sucks. Take it up with them. Forgestar cut the wheels to an FWS order. Only makes sense that they will not cancel. Get off their back. FWS can't get a credit because the wheels have been cut.

My suggestion.. call FWS and tell them to split the difference at $60. They should jump on that opportunity and so should you.

REGARDLESS....

Stop posting in this thread and blowing the whole point of the thread. If you want to pollute something.... start your own thread. The mods can take all the crap out of this and put it in that thread.

Boom, someone here has a brain, and isn't just mindlessly and meaninglessly jumping on the bandwagon to defend the vendor. Thank god!

Idiots.... whatever tool bag. You are pushing your agenda here... in the wrong thread. How many times did I say go talk to them!! What did you accomplish.

"yeah.... look at me.... I'm so proud..... I had one person agree with me on the internet........ but I'm still out $120."

Good for you. Next pictures please.

How many times did you say go talk to them!? LOL, What do you think I have been trying to do!? And why do you think your word is gospel. You somehow think your role in all of this is that what you say goes and end of story. Truth is what you say is mostly BS and I am forced to respond ONCE AGAIN as you try and paint me to be the bad guy here because FWS and Forgestar has a COMPLETE LACK OF REASONABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

PS- It's $180 not $120..how many times does it have to be said? Not to mention no one said I am out that money. My dispute is still pending and I will fight it until the end unless FWS finally agrees to my more then reasonable compromise.

My apologies to everyone about all this. I was just very frustrated yesterday / last night. If the mods want to delete all this bickering or move it to it's own thread, please do..whichever you prefer.

Uggh cool car but I'm so sick of flat BLACK wheels, thats all anyone buys anymore! I think I'll be the first Mustang with Silver Forgestars. Also, I think those F14's look almost too big in 20's on the car. Still a cool car though and I like the plate.

Yeah and almost every car built by every company comes with silver or machined wheels.........so in reality have a car with black wheels is like 1 in 20000. And imo you need 20s on these new ones to not look anemic....but you know what they say about opinions. And they are actually textured black....

I have 20's now, I think the 18's look just as good if not better with the right wheel, offset, tire and lowering. As far as the black wheel thing I see what you are saying but in terms of the aftermarket that's all anyone does anymore. Just seems like a trend or fad that won't last. I'd rather subscribe to timeless.

I understand. I buy what I think looks good to me as opposed to what is a fad or something. 18s are not timeless...15 inch cragars are timeless.

I think you car looks great. IMO the perfect set up is 20's in the rear and 19's in the front. Like the 315Nt05r.

I have texture matte black as well. Only downside is keeping the dirt and dust off them. I am going to try Meguairs wheel protectant to see if that helps.

According to his sig, he has 20's all the way around...

I went with 18s, mine will be exactly like entrenched's car except my car is black. I got piano black finish. From what i've been told I should be getting a tracking number within the next week.
