I was at oreillys today and the guy waiting on me said to a local exhaust shop owner he needed exhaust on his mustang.So me being a mustang nut asked him what he had.He procceded to tell me what he had and what he had done to it.The guy says he has a 90 fox with a 306 and 42pd injectors.I say are you n/a.He says yes and I say what do you need 42's on a n/a car for.He then procceds to tell me that its a 306 stroker.I say there is no such thing as a 306 stroker that its just a 302 bored 30 over.No he swears his motor got to be a 306 because of the long stroke that his wasn't the usual 302 bored 30 over.Then he says he needs 42's because its 13 to1 compression and he has special trick flow heads that are 170cc and most trick flow heads are under 100cc.he most not have known that stock heads are more than 100cc.Lucky my wife was with me or I would have set this guy straight.

He just ran into the wrong guy.Iv'e owned and modified many.Some mine and others that were friends that needed help.So i knew everything coming out of his mouth was BS.I mean seriously a 302 stroked to a 306.So somebody in the aftermarket would make a stroker kit for 4 cubic inches.Please.

True, it's not a stroker, but a high compression, long rod 306 turning eleventy billion rpms could make some horsepower. (no torque, but you know, whatever)
