I just remember what psfracer said about running 9.8:1 cr on pump. See post #13.

"I wouldn't go any higher then 13psi with 9.8 compression if you insist on running pump gas. 18psi with that compression your going to either rattle the thing to death or have to run such low timing that it won't make any sense"

I'm glad to see this is what your up to on thanksgiving. i was just stating that at that compresion ratio thats what the car dynoed at when i had a stick tranny in it. clutch didn't last long and went to an auto then cranked it up from there. car now runs on c16 full time as it dosen't see street duty anymore. You can try to start what ever you want nothing to hide.
