The oem strut mounts are one time use only. I replaced mine with the HD steeda version. Then you also have camber adjustment. I also used a steeda STB. STB bolts to each strut mount with all 4 x studs, (8 in total), snug fit. The actual stb can have its overall length adjusted, at either end. One end of the stb is rvs threaded.

Steeda sells some beefy ones. I put them in back in 2009 and haven't had a problem since. They're not cheap, but if you plan on keeping the car, may be worth the investment. They're built with roller-bearings.

I just installed that same set of CC plates with new struts and springs. I find the size of the needle bearing disturbingly small to support the weight of the car. But, I am very happy with the way the car feels/drives. And it is "stock" quiet, but I did replace the ball joints and control arm bushings a few weeks before the CC plates went in. Hopefully, the bearing size wont become an issue in the future.
